Once ver. 1.0 is released the application becomes viable as a product. With this in mind decision has been taken to move operations to UK . This will answer future needs in supporting our potential market and cutting costs of marketing, especially major trade shows i.e. Dusseldorf Boat Show and Amsterdam METZ at the RAI.
Being in the centre of activity , in the UK , will help promote and lower marketing costs.
The decision wasn’t an easy one as the term required shifting “load, stock and barrel” – family to the UK.
This was done in stages as my older son was nearing a crucial age where waiting any longer would damage his chances of acquiring English as a language for further studies i.e. College and University. My Family moved approx 3 years ago and now was the time for me to join them and proceed with MVM in Europe and USA/CANADA.
The decision, as a whole, proved to be right in the following years. My sons’ results in high school proved he had managed to cope with the English language.
We have utilized a very “sweet” program for video capture from a company called Techsmith.
I love these gadgets as they do cut time and produce excellent results. Here is a link to their site and I recommend purchasing the annual license allowing the JING PRO as compared to the free version. (Read and compare.)
I use the application to upload sort video clips to our YOUTUBE site so as the project manager and the design team can follow remarks, errors, bugs closely and realistically. As the saying goes… “A picture is worth a thousand words”… and more.
