Lets go back in time to November 2008.
Two Old friends meet up after not seeing one another for over 8 years. Used to serve together in the Navy. One still in the Navy approx. a year away from retirement , Ariel, The other , Itzic, followed his interest in IT and has a partnership with another programmer developing different applications for clients.
“ We meet up on a domestic flight lasting approx. 2 hours. Enough time to catch up on lost time.”
Reaching our mutual love for the sea and past history in the Navy an idea is thrown into the air…. Combine a vessel management software solution that Ariel has put together for the past 3 years with Itzics programming ability.
Sounds good. Both sides decide to meet up and talk shop.
It happens a few weeks later and a Saturday meeting lasts for 4 hours creating a working base and initial concept.
Lets continue tomorrow with a look into the project (No name as yet) approx 3 weeks later , beginning of January 2009 .
